Children are a valuable part of God’s family. Every Sunday,
there is a Children’s Message so that children (age 0 to 99)
may hear the Good News of Jesus who loves them and cares for them.
All children are welcomed to the front of the church for a special
message and prayer just for them. Sometimes parents also go up if
their child is a little apprehensive. Before they head back to their
seats, each child receives a special Children’s Bulletin.
One question people often ask is about the presence of a nursery
or cry room. Holy Cross believes it’s important for families
to worship together and welcomes children in all worship services.
There is no official nursery or cry room, but couches and chairs
are available in the narthex if your child needs a change of scenery.
There’s also a changing table in the restroom and plenty of
space to walk around.
“Busy
Bags” are also available in the narthex for children to use
during the worship service.
